The artistry of the D Dergos style of décor is amazingly adaptable for stage productions. The Dergos combination of both form and function provides a dramatic dimension to any space. The time consuming nature of D's works however, dictates that D is unable to step into all projects that spark his interest. This said, we are able to summarize a few in which D, unleashed, has been able to involve himself 100%.

THE FESTIVAL OF IMMORTALITY - eyes and teeth production

The Festival of Immortality features the Cirque Vampyre. This incredible show was created by dancer choreographer Sandra Botnen. She was formerly with the renowned Cirque du Soleil, in Vancouver's Dancing on the Edge and with famed French musical Notre Dame de Paris. The project peaked D's interest immediately.

In this production a selection of D. Dergos pieces were placed throughout the venue including in the entrance, thus enhancing the atmosphere of opulence and splendor for the ticket buyer. On the stage was the primary version of the wood hall chair. The extended version can be seen in the Gallery by clicking the button on top.

MEDIAEVAL BAEBES

This group from the UK had D's attention long before the opportunity to become involved in this production presented itself. This group of beautiful women have an elegantly classical sound and an underlying heavy edge. Well, this one was a no brainer for D. Dergos.

In this portion of the venue, the challenge involved the unquestionable rogue D. Dergos and the Mediaeval Baebes known internationally for elegance, beauty and classical talent. In the beginning it seemed to parallel a bull going to a ballet. Yet when all was said and done, a balance in décor was struck by D. Dergos to encompass the Baebes mix of classical sound, heavy edge and angelic voices. The selected pieces were then placed around the area where the audience would be seated to enhance the sense of involvment and to set an old world tone prior to the arrival of the stars themselves. Taking to the stage with a reputation for talent, work ethic and bold artistry, the Mediaeval Baebes did not disappoint. They simply reaffirmed that well earned reputation.

Note:

Thank you to all janitorial staff employed in past and future venues in which the Dergos style of décor is deemed desirable. The Dergos nature is to wander freely, yet given his lack of a general sense of geographical direction one can guarantee dergos will become hopelessly lost a number of times in any given venue. It is often these unsung custodial heroes who will return a flustered D. Dergos to his original point of departure.

THANK YOU !!!
