The photos in this collection were a 12 year dergos side project that is on going to this day. Theatrical in its nature these works may mean 2-3 months in preparation [background 'lighting' model composition etc.] prior to a commitment being made to go ahead with the actual photo shoot. Also of note is the live nature of these works [case in point] in the group in which butterflys are present
although not real they are great replicas that when placed with wire could be included in each set. This extra work creates a far more realistic other world feel for the veiwer. The goal in this group is all about realism.
Note to buyers
The sale price on all of my works are reflective of the cross section of the people i know. Those that have a lot of money to spend and those that do not. Price will never mirror the way i feel about a group of work 'this group has been one of the most challenging things i've ever done. I could have done tons of photoshop and reached an end in weeks rather than years [in keeping with my hard won reputation as an I D I O T] i of course had to go all the way. The lower price is a NO BRAINER since these are one of the few things i do that can be easily replicated. If you choose to buy a print it will be signed and dated by hand for authenticity d dergos
FRAMING
The groups of work i do in the aged style take more time than one might think. In order to keep the prices affordable i have decided not to do any framing. there are many low priced framing options that you can use to get the job done [replace an existing print, find a frame you like at a garage sale, etc]. the approx size is given in the info "i would suggest you go 2" or 3" inch larger than the stated size.
