Update on the return of D Dergos
The info that we are able to put forth will be fairly limited in scope at the request of Dergos himself mainly due to the notorios Dergos lack of patiance in discussing anything about himself. This is a longtime personality trait that we have come to expect, be it questions about his work or the many personal setbacks that have befallen Dergos throughout his life. Following a severe brain hemorrhage on March 8 2011, Dergos has re learned to walk as well has been regaining the partial use of arms and hands, however a full recovery and the time it may take remains an open question. Dergos has doubts as to being able to apply many of the skills he once had. This said, notice should be given that D Dergos has held onto a selected amount of works for his own use, also a large amount of his work has been aquired by a core group of long time patrons of D Dergos. For these reasons we have decided to give notice to those that may wish to obtain any past Dergos works the likelihood of non availability at this time is a great possibilty.
It should be noted that a year in one hospital or another Dergos has come up with more than a few ideas that he would like to put together in his photographic collection. Dergos is confident he will be able to start the first group of photo shoots this coming spring. Although Dergos will not discuss the composition or theme of this new group of work, he is certain it will be the most theatrical group of photos done thus far. Dergos estimates the full collection will take approx 2 years to complete. Dergos is now in the process of gathering together the group of models/actresses for the upcoming project. The most important trait a Dergos model must have is to be fun fun fun funny, given the nature of work Dergos has done which all seems sooo serious. In actual truth the only people Dergos will work with are those that do not take themselves to seriously - "overconfidence is the first step towards being a total shmuck" - D Dergos.

On march 8, 2011 D Dergos suffered a severe brain hemorrhage, leaving him unconscious for several days requiring surgery and a long way to recovery. As of now it is unknown when D Dergos will return to the helm of Dergos Decor. A decision has been made to suspend all sales for a time in order to regroup and rethink on how to move foward in this situation. Now the good news for those of us that have known Dergos for many years is that he is still as pissy and defiant as ever. That in itself is a sign that his recovery will be sooner than the medical profession may think.
